"This painting is a representation of my living room in Delhi. A woman and a man are playing chess. Or rather, they were playing; his king is in trouble and cannot move anymore. For several years, I greatly enjoyed playing chess. I find it particularly beautiful when someone is deeply focused on the game, reflecting on their strategy to win."
