"Dancers for Peace"
“This painting was made when I lived in Geneva, during the Iraq War, when a United States-led coalition invaded the country. It represents dancers with a garland that twirls around them forming the word “peace”. I was very much interested in dance at the time, experimenting a lot, especially with classical, contemporary, but mostly contact improvisation dance.”
