“Renée M.L.” is a precious masterpiece, entirely handmade with the highest quality materials. It’s protected by a fine leather pouch and presented in a precious case, made of Canaletto walnut solid wood, complete with a hygrometer, to ensure the correct monitoring of internal humidity.
The core structure of this jewel is a comb that comes to life in the Boltina artisan laboratories. Meticolously and completely handcrafted, this masterpiece is cut and extracted from a raw sheet of cellulose acetate, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
YOLO is an idea born in the post-pandemic era, from the desire of a group of international Entrepreneurs, driven by enthusiasm and fascinated by elegance, to propose something original and extravagant. Willing to go against the tide, it was decided to move unconventionally: by tracing anomalies and dysfunctionalities pertaining to objects of everyday life, exalting their versatility and their value. The partnership between two excellences, YOLO and the jewelry house Boite d'Or, has allowed the creation of a truly unique object of its kind.

Inspired by the timeless geometry of the Art Déco era, this creation pays homage to the city of lights, where elegance meets innovation and femininity embraces strength. “Renée M.L.” evokes the silhouette of Madame Renèe, walking in a square along the Seine at dawn, her steps echoing on cobblestones glistening after the rain – confident, luminous, eternal.
Born from pure craftsmanship and poetic precision, this Swiss-made masterpiece is sculpted from natural-based cellulose acetate and adorned with noble metals and stones, merging nature and artistry into one seamless gesture.
Like the architectural beauty of Paris itself, “Renée M.L.” is harmony captured in form – both rational and romantic, delicate yet enduring.
As every YOLO jewel, “Renée M.L.” celebrates sustainable luxury and individuality. Yet, in its quiet perfection, it transcends trends: a talisman for the modern muse, whose essence is both classic and avant-garde.
This particular “Jewel Comb” presented as a “charm” is embellished with refined Yellow Gold 750/1000 (18Kt) for 37.110gr; 1 Natural Ametyst for 8.40 ct; and has n. 43 Natural Diamonds, Brilliant Cut, color F (white extra +), Clarity VS (10x Loop); for 1,49 total carats; all of wich are microscope set.
“Grace” by YOLO is a precious and delicate object, a precious ally of feminine charm, which deserves the right conservation. All the materials of which the object is made require care and attention.
External agents: chemicals / temperature / brightness / humidity
The cellulose acetate and the precious stones composing “Grace” are materials sensitive to chemical substances. In contact with alcohols, aromatic hydrocarbons or chlorinated solvents there is a swelling or a loss of the plastic characteristics of the acetate, which is soluble in ketones. Strong mineral acids and bases, pure or concentrated oxidizing salts can cause chemical degradation of all components. Due to its chemical nature, cellulose acetate shows a sensitive tendency to absorb water. The water content, in fact, plays a significant role on the physical and mechanical properties of this material. A high water content can greatly increase the impact resistance but makes the material softer, decreasing its thermal resistance. Sudden heating or cooling of the valuable materials used can cause superficial and/or structural damage. Storage at room temperature is recommended. The suggested environmental humidity, for correct conservation of “Grace”, is between 40% and 60%. A humidity higher than 60% risks deforming the object; on the other hand, a humidity lower than 40% increases the fragility of the object and favours drying phenomena. A situation of extreme drying can cause structural fragility. “Grace” should never be stored for long periods of time in environments where the temperature is higher than 24°C. Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 24°C could favor deformation phenomena. Temperatures below 14°C could instead favour phenomena of fragility. “Grace” should never be exposed to excessive irradiation, as light is susceptible to raising temperatures and altering the physical state of the object. Prolonged direct exposure to sunlight or permanence in environments with intense and continuous irradiation can give rise to discoloration and deformation of the object.
Cleaning and conservation
Contact of the object with hot or boiling water can cause surface bleaching or discoloration. For proper cleaning, we recommend the use of warm water and glycerin, possibly neutral soap. It is recommended to keep “Grace” as far as possible inside its precious leather case.

Customers will receive tracking information once the order has been shipped. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers. Free shipping is available for orders over CHF 200.--.
Shipping costs vary according to the total amount of the order and the delivery destination. Preparation and packaging costs are free. We recommend you to group all your items in a single order. We cannot combine two orders placed separately and shipping fees apply to each of them.
